Christmas Time!!

My Mom & I made these tu-tu's for little miss C & J, they turned out sooo cute!!
This one is Miss J's, the little ducky's are so her! This is Miss C's, notice the sparklys...yes they are a sight to behold :)

C has pink, white, and deep purple. With a crazy number of bows to top it off.

J's has red, white and deep purple~ I soooo would not have put these colors together, but my mom, Yoda, said they would look great...and they did of course! Now who doubted Yoda???

We have already seen Santa, and had our faces painted with I guess it's a winter butterfly?

Sat on his lap and asked for barbies, pink barbies, a pink bear with a heart. (?) No clue what the heart bear thing is. She is very interested in the organs, she has always said she wants to be a doctor- a baby doctor shock!- I would like her to be a family doc- she can care for her aging mother who has lost the use of her legs while playing four kids who think of the goofiest games- I have to join in on!

Mr. P's turn... he wanted LEGO'S and we are all stunned by this announcement. He has tubs full of legos- tubs! But what the boys want, the boys get :)
Santa was wonderful! He brought his book with him so he could check that their names were on the 'Nice' list. They sang songs with Santa, and even made up some songs with him~ that's one great Santa!
Merry Merry Christmas!!!

Oh for the Joy's of Life!

I have not posted in FOREVER!!! So much has happened~ I am officially single as of Oct. 1, 2009. It should not be such a great thing to be single, but it is. I met someone who is amazing~ it was totally unplanned, but great none the less :)
I'm not sure where or if it will go anywhere, but it is nice to know that there are men out there who are not afraid of 4 kids.
Anyway~ I am getting my house in order, which is taking way longer than expected. I would post pic's but no one wants to see that!
My constant companion and ever faithful friend is on the fritz- rebal (some#'s here) digital camera needs a battery - or I am hoping that's the problem.
N worked on my computer, doing very official 6 year old business, and now it look like this
As I was typing this, I fixed it :) YAHOOOO
So no more GiGaNtIc icons.
There is so much to get caught up on, I will do it tho!!

Deep Pool Diving

I should have done the pic's first, here is P going in again- yes with jammies on. My boys live in p.j's and I have given up trying to change this.
I thought I would keep Ju busy (so she couldn't throw anything else in the pool) so I let her climb in the water with N (who actually has on clothes).

These were exhibit A, B, C and D. These tiny rocks took up two hours of my life!! Ju can fit quiet a bit of these in her hand. I don't know if that info will ever come in handy, but just in case I will file it away :)
(I couldn't delete this pic- I know dork)
My neighbor (who lives one street over) came by the other day and said that her backyard was flooded and the people (my across the street neighbors) were not answering their door. OK~ I called my ex (cuz he has their phone number) and he said the people who live there were out of town. GrEaT. I, and the four willing participants, went across the street to see what was happening. The backyard was FLOODED. I don't have a clue about sprinklers (I'm new at this whole single with a house thing) so my ex gave me the owners phone number, I called him and he walked me thru the whole -stick my hand down a hole filled with water while getting sprinkled on- and I successfully turned off the water. Yea!! We can go home now...ugh no. Ju had thrown two handfuls of tiny pebbles into their pool. UGH. I swept them up and had P go down to pick the up. He did this willingly until Ju decided to throw two more handfuls in. NOOOO.....

I begged P to go back in the cold water...after promising a hot fudge sundae from McD's he did.

I need some major HELP! I am at a total loss at doing anything with this space. I just noticed that Ju is sitting there HA!
I started to paint the walls Cake stand Blue- but it looked chalky next to the tile. Can you see the blue? I loved the color so much, I put it in my boys' room and it looks amazing! Just not in the bathroom!
So, I now have no idea what color to paint this room. The curtains are gold with a black and gold tie back. I love them, but would trade them if needed.
Any suggestions?

House Cleaning 101

I do not have housekeepers anymore~ (price of freedom) and I love it!!

I didn't know how much I would enjoy the simplicity of cleaning.

Today I vacuumed the tile hallway, living room, playroom and kitchen and laundry room. I then pledged (Callie actually did this) the coffee table, end tables, playroom table, kitchen table, desk, china cabinet and hutch. Callie did the end tables and hutch, and part of the floor :)
Then I Windexd the glass in the living room, Callie's mirror, bathroom mirror and playroom shutters and windows. I also cleaned the sliding glass door with a micro fiber cloth which doesn't need windex. This took about 30 min- surprisingly. I enjoyed it! The tables are sparkly, thanks to Callie and her trigger happy finger.
I think I should have done this a long time ago. I am still learning the shortcuts to cleaning, like vacuum all carpets one day? Or a room a day?
It is a great stress reliever and I am getting pretty good at it!

I am on the quest, yes quest, for the perfect coffee-mate :) Yes, pun intended.
I am without my beloved Hazelnut Biscotti, and at such a loss in the mornings until I found this... I thought I had found my perfect mate, and then, flat! I was in such shock that I was not instantly in love- Vanilla~check Carmel~check Brownie(?) who was ever let down by a brownie? I was, my friends. I can see now why this is a limited edition.
I will have to go to my old stand by~ Hazelnut~ until my first love Pumpkin Spice returns in a couple months. Hazelnut Biscotti was, I thought, my coffee-mate for life (when pumpkin was out of season). If you see my love, please let me know where he is hiding.

Back to School

School started for everyone in this house over the age of three. P is in 1st, N is in kinder and I started my two classes for the fall. P's class has 17 boys and 4 girls, N's class has 23, and my class has 227 students. HUGE class!
I sat next to a young girl who just graduated from high school- nothing makes you feel older than sitting next to someone who was potty training when you gratuated high school.

Life With Julia

This is a matter of days...
Found a helmet~ got it stuck Got a cookie~ who needs hands?

Use my hands? What?

Enjoying her nugget with her big bro. She started this. Really she did.

In the bath, full of princess bubbles. I'm sure she tasted one of them.

This are glimpses into my life with my fourth child (who does not have a fear gene, apparently I ran out.), 22 month old Ju Ju Bee. I adore her more and more every day!!

Fun

So I know d's are never fun. But who would have thought it would be this much fun? I am so excited to have a peaceful life. Instead of thinking about the friends who have stayed with him and the humiliating things he has done and said and the abuse I have taken over the last eight years, I am going to look at the future with bright eyes and open heart to say I am thankful for my kids and the fact that they don't remember what has happened to them, I am thankful for my friends who have called wrong - wrong and not said 'sorry' then hung out with him. I am thankful that the truth ALWAYS comes out and the fact that this freaks him out is priceless.
I love how God works~ it's not easy when I'm in the moment hearing him say things like I don't deserve to eat/live and what a horrible mother/wife I am' ~but in the end truth will over come and I will have a good future with MY kids, family and my real friends.
This will be my last post about him and the people surrounding him. I will not be sad/hurt/betrayed/embarrassed/humiliated/put down anymore! This is not me, it has never been and I do not intend to start now. Look for new fun post's in the future!! XO

In the words of Mr.N... Oh Yeah Oh Yeah

Another A!! Yahooooo
Not just an A, but 100% on one test and close on the other.

Again, my faithful book went everywhere I went. There is NoThInG 'Basic' about basic anatomy!
It's tough!!

On to another week...the ear, the endocrine system and many more fun topics to follow :)

It's here...ahhh my bliss...

I am so in love with the new fall collection from Bergdorf's. Now if only I had a couple k's to burn...

I'm going to have to make a lot more clippies!

Happy Early Birthday to ME!!

I have super curly hair and straighten it almost daily so when I saw the InStyler I, again, fell in love.
My parents bought me this for my birthday, gave it to me early~yes!!~ and I have used it EVERYday since.
I love this product and give it a million star rating :)
Thank You!!!!!!!

My New Love

I bought this at Target today!! I love love love it!!
After 8 years of having housekeepers once a week, I am letting them go in a couple of weeks :(
Words can not say how sad I am, I have seen these women every week, they have seen me a mess, pregnant, preg again, babies, birthdays...
I really am sad to see them go, but on the good side I bought myself a mop. I think this is the most grown-up feeling purchase I have made in awhile~ You know the one, where you stand in line and think 'I can't believe I'm buying a (insert adult purchase here) and I am so excited'.

I came home and cleaned my floors....BeAuTiFuL!!
They were just cleaned yesterday, but I had to break her in!!
She, yes it's a girl, matches Sally Sucker~ my purple Dyson. Now for a girls name...Mandy Mop.

This makes it much more fun telling one of the kids to get Sally, or now Mandy, instead of the vaccuum!

Bummer of an Ending

I went out (I can't believe it!) the other night with some very good friends, we had such a blast. We had appetizers and dinner first at a friends, then we went to the Cellar Door. SO fun! There was a band (?) not sure if it was a whole band or one guy, we were in the back and very loud. I have not had that much fun in a loong time. It was soo needed.
Thank God for good friends!!
Anyway, I went to pick up my kids, and baby J's ear is oozing blood. nice. So, I stayed up with her till about 1:30a.m. until she finally fell asleep. Poor baby!!! She goes to the Dr. tomorrow, so I'll load her up (if she needs it) today with Motrin, but so far the only thing out of the norm is she is tired and not hungry- that should have been my first clue :)

Good News~ I got an A on my test. I took that book everywhere. Just when three chapters and two tests end...another three and two more tests begin. Wish me luck!

My kids and I met up with a friend and her daughter at the Airport Cafe today to have breakfast and watch the parachuters.

It was such a blast~ we sat in the corner surrounded by windows and had such a great breakfast/lunch and watched the planes and the parachuters.

Afterwards we took a walk to see the planes. Little did I know that this is not allowed. ugh. It was totally my fault, I saw no harm in looking at the planes. There was one taking off while we were about to walk out of the cafe, but other than that there was no action. Of course if there had been people out and gearing up then, duh, we would not have been there.

But no ones there so we walked along and saw a rusted out tractor about 10 ft into the field. The kids couldn't touch the planes so when they saw the tractor- I thought 'why not?'

Well I guess that was wrong also. SOOO if you would like to have a good meal and "WATCH" the planes and parachuters then go to the airport cafe, but be warned not to venture out to look at any of the planes regardless of how many spiderwebs are on them. And don't even think about touching the 100 yr old tractor in the field. sheesh.

Appropriate??

So I am going thru with a divorce. I have been in hope for awhile, thinking that I could somehow 'fix' the unfixable. A light bulb finally went off and I am proceeding with the divorce.
Anyway~ I was unplugging 'his' phone to plug in mine, it lit up and I saw that a certain
women has been texting him. This women has been a problem for awhile, I have had to ask her to stop talking bad about me to MY neighbors, I only called her on it once but word got back to me every time she blabbed info she knew NOTHING about.
I was wondering if this is appropriate? I'm sure my soon to be ex would not have liked me talking and texting other married men, so why is this ok? I guess the bigger question is why can't she wait until he moves out?

Freedom

Yesterday we celebrated, as Americans, being Free.

We are an independent Nation, holding true to the basis that we are indeed 'free'.

At Church this morning the Pastor was taking about our freedom in Christ.

Have I forgotten that this is the purest and truest form of freedom? It was won thousands of years ago, and counted on many before that. I sat in wonder that I have been free all along, all who come to the Father through Jesus have been set free. "He who the Son sets free, is free INDEED".

Let me remember this, that I am trusting and believing in the One who said "I am the way and the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father except through me".

Freedom is being offered thru the Son, and also life.

I want to never forget that the truest form of freedom happened many many years ago, before the declaration of Independence was even a thought. This freedom has rewards more abundant than free speech.

I will be grateful for the freedom of our country and I am proud to be an American, but I am living proud to wear the badge of Christ and I will be eternally thankful for His offering.

Never a good sign...

I was driving to school the other day and I needed a napkin~ diet pepsi incident~ so I came to a red light, opened up the consul and what did I happen to find? Evidence that my kids have been in my car with out me knowing. Hmmm I wonder who's little DNA would be on this stick?? And when were they going to tell me they were in the car?? And left a popsicle??? The plot thickens...

French tips & one sweet meow!

Ju loves this cement cat! She pets and kisses it everyday. I bet she's wondering why she isn't moving away, and where is her tail anyway??
Little Miss C loves loves loves her nails! I got these at Easter time and had totally forgot about them. They somehow surfaced the other day and she had a ball! She could 'tap' on just about anything, and they looked great holding her baby. Sheesh! I am in for it when she gets bigger!
The boys kept pretending like they were going to grab them~boys!~ and I'd hear her saying 'No boys, don't mess up my nails!' HA!! I lOvE these kids!!!

Pimp My Ride

Check out N's new pimped out ride!
He was so excited about this, what 5 year old wouldn't love to spray paint their bike some random color? And Gold?!?! He is FaNcY!! :)
Even the wheels got a shiny new coat. I love my boys!! A girl would never think to do this!
So Ju finally started eating fruit, but she does it her own way...
Is this normal? haha
I know she totally is 100% normal! But I'm still thinking she might be a fraction of a % monkey :)

Our New Pet

Well, we have an addition to our pet family...

Meet Froggy~ He shakes hands, and dances...

As long as he stays in his froggy home, I am happy with our new addition.

Happy Days

I needed to vent, now I need to talk about some great things!!

I got my new makeup~ the Kat VonD~ LoVe It!! It's light, so it doesn't dry into my 'fine' lines (I hope they are still considered fine). But it stays all day. I am a Kat follower now :)

My class is going so great! I have made new friends and can easily tell you what every bone in your face is called. I also know the difference between cells, blood cells, Endoplasmic Reticular~ rough and smooth and most important how germs spread from your eyeball to your sinus.

I am loving this summer- nice days and great nights. The cool air is soo loved here!!
We have made some amazing friends in the 'hood :) and the kids wake up asking about them. I am so overcome knowing that these are the summers they will remember forever. I want to do the best for my kids and give them great memories to look back on.
SO in spite of being gone everyday for 6 hours, this has been a great summer so far.
I also have such great friends watching the kids, they come over cook and clean and my kids love it! I am so blessed! They are more than helpful and I am more than grateful!
My parents take the kids two days a week and the kids would rather go there than summer camp~ I think that could quite possibly be the worlds best compliment.

gOiNg Or StAyInG?

If 'someone' bought a bunch of boxes...filled them...sealed them...bought more boxes...

Wouldn't you think this person is moving? I have asked this 'person' if they are planning on moving. This 'person' replied "I'm just packing some things that I dont wear anymore, can't I pack so old things?" huh? What? Who packs old things up while there are still hanging in the closet and being worn?
This person has spent all day packing, and doing laundry. Why you ask? I wish I knew. I think someone has either hit the bottle a little to much or he is afraid I might want a straight answer out of him.
This is kinda a gripe/praise post. I wish he would just move out so I can go on enjoying my kids and my life. I am sad it ended this way, but I want peace for myself and for the kids. This is the only way that will be accomplished.

Reading & Freezing

I am studying~ studying~ studying!
I start Anatomy on the 15th and an on-line English course on the 15th.

I am so excited, but nervous to be in class again. I wonder if it's still wrong to chew gum...

So, I have been reading my book and also my 'fun' book "Cross Country" I love James Patterson books! I have read so many 'Alex Cross' books, I feel like we're friends :)

It's so cold here in sunny Cali, I love it! I am so loving this nice weather, I am no a fan of 105 degree days. 90 is my limit- I know I'm a wimp. I stay inside like it's a bad storm and only venture out for ice cream or a kid.

Oh, some exciting news~ I ordered the Kat VonD conceler in 'Light'. It should be here in 5 days. I am so excited, I adore make-up and I'm not ashamed to admit it :)

I am really liking my I.D, but I'm missing my old foundation, the liquid one- Armani #5. Along with the liquid bronzer. So I will be at a cross roads soon as to which to buy next. I should arive there with in the next two months. Which do you prefere? Liquid or powder?
I will post how I like the new conceler soon :)
I did just purchase a lip gloss by Sally Hansen, an 18 hour wear moisturizing gloss. I feels great on, but it's not an 18 hour anything! I'd give it a two- three hour stay time- which is better that a lot of glosses. So I would classify this as a 'Good Buy'
(my photo uploader isn't cooperating~sorry!)

Back to reading I go, till next time...

Say Hello to My Little Friend

Isn't he cute! He likes to hang on the top of Jassy's (My Jasmine) pad. He came and went several times the other day. Until my boys tried to catch him. ugh. Only boys would chase a dragonfly across the yard.

My new 'garden'

I love plants! I have my three, potted beauties; Jasmin, (e?), Basil/ Chives, and Rosemary. I had Thyme, but she apparently didn't like her accommodations here ugh. I had this amazing candle holder that came with glass inserts, well after kids, it didn't take long for me to freak out and remove all the glass holders. Then the holder moved outside and I love it even more! It became this beautiful rust color and my Jassy loves it! My Mom gave me this beautiful Jassy~ I love them :)
This is a pink, my fave, star Jassy. It will bloom soon...I can see the buds...open...open...open!

This is my Orange tree, Orangy, with its friend Lilly. Lilly is a very good faker, she has had buds for what seems like ever! I am excited for her to bloom. I got the giant pot at Big Lots, it was a lovely strange orange color~ so I opted for a cleaner off white shade. I like it soo much more!

I got this black iron 'thing' at goodwill, it was a off gold color and I think it was supposed to be a tapered glass vase holder. Well, spray a bit of black and flip it upside down and my ivy will love to grow around it.

This is a close up of Rosey Rosemary. I think she is so beautiful and smells delish!

Giants Game

We went to a Giants game a couple weeks ago...
Lou's shirt says 'Beat LA'....and the did :)
Up where the giant glove and coke bottle is, there is a slide and a batting area for kids. Nic did great, my little lefty!
Pres wore his p.j's of course. I packed his super cute sweater, jeans and his gray turtle neck. He wore 2/3 of the things I brought so, I'm happy :)

Before the game, we took a boat ride under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. We had such a blast, we went from the top deck to the bottom, back to the top then to the bottom. We saw the whole boat. haha.
I had just had my hair done that morning- isn't is gorgeous? I know the wind blown look isn't all that popular, but I like it :)

Cleaning the house...doesn't everyone do this?

Little Miss couldn't stop laughing... While the vacuum was out, the kids got an idea~ they need to 'clean' their hair, eyes and lips- it was to funny!

Miss C had to clean her hair...
Mr. N had to clean his eyes...

And Mr. P had to clean his lips.
The end piece of the vacuum is chewed thanks to Daisy, who thinks that it is a super fun toy! She goes nuts when the vacuum comes out, it is her job to bite and growl every time it comes out.
